WHAT MAKES YOU THINK A N Y O N E DESERVES THIS ?" then use your intelligence should you get an answer to "talkem down" dont give up until you get inside them where the real problem lies and take the steam out of what drives them within. at that point they should lose their motivation to negatively bother you. you may even get the chance to turn them into a friend ! works. in grade school particularly. unfortunately i exploded at one weak moment telling him a very sensitive truth. his mother was a single parent who one day died in a car accident. i made a point one day as he was insulting me by saying things like "yo mama is a ...." in variations of insults. i decided knowing it was a negative statement but angry now to tell him his mother died because she could not concentrate while driving cause he was such a bad boy at home he was driving her crazy everyday. he vowed from my words he was going to beat me up later and kill me. walking along the gym area he had sent his two thug friends. they cornered me and began beating on my back. somehow god intervened. as the blows somehow only felt like love taps. i was puzzled i dont know today if those two only wanted the bully to see i was being thrashed and did not want to really harm me but then he came from nowhere and said to the two STOP STOP THATS ENOUGH. and with a change of heart he simply asked me if i was sorry for what i had said. i said of course i was. i did not intend to hurt your feelings worse. you would not stop insulting my mother why are you always so mad and teasing me. why cant we just be friends. that is all i Ever wanted from you in the first place. then he relaxed perhaps even smiled offered to shake my hand ok shake and now we will ALWAYS BE FRIENDS FROM THIS MOMENT ON. i could cry now remembering this as i will NEVET EVER FORGET THAT DAY. years later my mother showed me a picture in our local city newspaper. it was Craig my bully turned friend. it was the obituary column as mom is saying isnt that your schoolmate from henderson ? he recently committed suicide." for this it is wise to choose positive words over negative ones when possible.
